BrandViper AI generates content automatically based on your brand profile. Occasionally, a post may not feel quite right — the tone, the wording, or the topic might not match your expectations. This guide explains what you can do when that happens, and how to create your own posts when you want full control over the content.
Option 1 — Edit the Post Before It Publishes
If a scheduled post does not look right, you can edit it directly in your content calendar before it goes live. Open the post, tap or click Edit, and update the caption text or the posting time. Once you are happy with the changes, tap or click Save.

Option 2 — Cancel the Post and Create Your Own
If you would rather replace a post entirely, you can cancel the AI-generated post and create your own in its place.
Step 1 — Cancel the AI-generated post
Open the post in your content calendar, tap or click Cancel Post, and confirm. The post will be cancelled and removed from the publishing queue.
Step 2 — Create your own post
Tap or click the + button at the bottom right of the Content screen to open the New Post form. You can upload your own image, write your own caption, choose the social account to publish to, and set your own scheduled time.

Step 3 — Save and schedule
Once you are happy with your post, tap or click Save & Schedule. Your post will appear in the calendar and publish automatically at the time you set. You can also tap or click Save Draft if you want to come back and finish it later.
Option 3 — Contact Support to Update Your Brand Profile
If you are consistently unhappy with the AI-generated content — for example the tone is always wrong, the topics are not relevant, or the wrong products keep being mentioned — the root cause is usually something in your brand profile that needs updating.
In this case, the most effective solution is to raise a support ticket describing what is not working and how you would like it to be different. Our team will update your brand profile so that all future AI-generated content better reflects your brand.
| If your content feels… | The likely cause is… |
|---|---|
| Too formal or too casual | Your tone of voice needs updating |
| Aimed at the wrong audience | Your target audience description needs more detail |
| Mentioning the wrong products or services | Your products and services list is out of date |
| Missing your key selling points | Your key messages or USPs need updating |
| The wrong type of content on certain days | Your weekly content themes need adjusting |
How to raise a support ticket
Go to Settings → Help & Support → My Tickets and tap or click the + button to create a new ticket. Describe exactly what is not working and what you would prefer instead. The more specific you are, the more accurately our team can make the update.

Tips for Giving Effective Feedback
When describing what you want changed in a support ticket, specific feedback gets better results than general complaints.
| Instead of saying… | Try saying… |
|---|---|
| I do not like this post | The tone is too formal — please make it more casual and conversational |
| This does not sound like us | Our brand voice is friendly and energetic — this post reads as too corporate |
| Change the content | We no longer offer this service — please focus on our new product range instead |
| Make it better | Add a clear call to action at the end and make the opening line more engaging |
Common Issues
I edited a post but it still does not look right
If a single edit is not enough, you can cancel the post entirely and create your own using the + button on the Content screen. Alternatively, raise a support ticket describing the issue and our team will help.
The same kind of content keeps appearing even after I raise a ticket
If the issue reappears after a correction has been made, raise a follow-up ticket referencing your original request. Our team will review whether the brand profile update was applied correctly.
I want to replace all AI-generated content with my own posts
You can cancel any scheduled AI-generated post and replace it with your own using the + button on the Content screen. You can create and schedule as many of your own posts as you like alongside or instead of the AI-generated ones.
A post published before I had a chance to edit it
Once a post has been published, it cannot be edited or deleted from within BrandViper AI. If you need to remove or update a published post, you will need to do this directly on the social media platform where it was posted.
