Connecting your social media accounts is the step that brings BrandViper AI to life. Once connected, BrandViper AI will automatically generate, schedule, and publish content to your accounts — without you having to log in to each platform separately.
If you skipped this step during setup, this guide will walk you through connecting your accounts from your dashboard.
How to Access Social Accounts
From the navigation menu, tap or click Social Accounts. This is where you can connect new platforms and manage any accounts you have already connected.

| Business or Creator account | |
| Google Business | Google Business Profile (single location) |
| Pinterest Business account | |

How to Connect a Social Account
Step 1 — Select a platform
On the Social Accounts screen, scroll to the Connect More Accounts section (or Connect an Account if no accounts are connected yet). Tap or click the platform you want to connect.
Step 2 — Log in to the platform
A login window will open for that platform. Enter the username and password for the account you want to connect. BrandViper AI does not store your social media passwords — it only receives a secure access token directly from the platform after you approve the connection.
Step 3 — Approve the permissions
The platform will ask you to approve the permissions BrandViper AI needs. These typically include permission to publish posts, read comments, and access basic analytics. You must approve all requested permissions for the connection to work fully.
Step 4 — Connection confirmed
Once approved, you will be returned to BrandViper AI and the platform will appear in your Connected Accounts section with a green Connected status. BrandViper AI will immediately begin preparing content for that platform.
Step 5 — Repeat for each additional platform
Each platform is connected separately. Repeat the steps above for every platform you want BrandViper AI to manage. You do not need to connect all platforms at once — you can return to this screen at any time to add more.
What Happens After You Connect
Once you connect a social account, BrandViper AI will automatically start generating your content pipeline. Within a short time, you will see 14 days of scheduled posts appear in your Content Calendar — one for each day, tailored to your brand.
Platform-Specific Requirements
You must connect a Facebook Page, not a personal profile. During the connection flow, all Pages you manage will be listed — select the correct one. If your Page does not appear, check that your Facebook account has Admin access to it.
Instagram requires a Business or Creator account. Personal Instagram accounts are not supported. If your account is personal, go to your Instagram settings and switch it to a Professional account, then select Business or Creator. Once done, return to BrandViper AI and connect.
TikTok
TikTok requires a Business or Creator account. Personal TikTok accounts are not supported. Open the TikTok app, go to Settings, and switch to a Business or Creator account before connecting.
Both personal profiles and Company Pages are supported. You can connect either or both independently.
Google Business
Only single-location Google Business Profiles are supported. Multi-location accounts are not currently supported.
A Pinterest Business account is required. You can convert a personal Pinterest account to Business for free in Pinterest settings before connecting.
Threads
Threads requires a connected Instagram account, as it uses your Instagram login. Connect your Instagram account first, then connect Threads.
YouTube
Connect the Google account linked to your YouTube channel.
Bluesky
Any standard Bluesky account can be connected. No specific account type is required.
Managing Connected Accounts
Once an account is connected, you can manage it at any time from the Social Accounts screen.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Pause | Temporarily stops BrandViper AI from publishing to that account. Your scheduled posts are held and will resume when you unpause. |
| Disconnect | Removes the account from BrandViper AI. All posts scheduled for that platform will be cancelled immediately. You can reconnect at any time. |
Common Issues
My Instagram account will not connect
Instagram only supports Business and Creator accounts. Go to your Instagram profile settings, switch to a Professional account, and select Business or Creator. Then return to BrandViper AI and try connecting again.
My TikTok account will not connect
TikTok only supports Business and Creator accounts. Open the TikTok app, go to Settings, and switch your account type before reconnecting.
I cannot see my Facebook Page during the connection flow
Make sure you are logged in to the Facebook account that manages the Page. During the connection flow, all Pages you manage will be listed. If your Page does not appear, check that your account has Admin access to it in Facebook Page settings.
I connected Facebook but Instagram is not showing as connected
Facebook and Instagram are connected separately in BrandViper AI. Go back to Social Accounts and connect Instagram on its own.
The connection window closed before I finished
This can happen if the login window was blocked by your browser or the session timed out. Return to the Social Accounts screen and try connecting again. If you are using a browser, make sure pop-ups are allowed for app.brandviper.ai.
My posts are not appearing in the Content Calendar after connecting
Please allow approximately 15 minutes for BrandViper AI to generate your first content pipeline. If your calendar is still empty after 15 minutes, submit a support ticket through BrandViper AI and our team will investigate.
My account shows as connected but no posts are being published
Check the Social Accounts screen for any warning indicators on the connected account. If the status appears healthy but posts are still not publishing, submit a support ticket through BrandViper AI with the details and our team will look into it.
