Your content calendar is where you can see every post BrandViper AI has created for you — scheduled, published, pending, and drafted — across all your connected social media platforms. You can also create and schedule your own posts at any time. This guide explains how to navigate your calendar and what actions you can take on your posts.
How to Access Your Content Calendar
From the navigation menu, tap or click Content. Your content calendar will open showing the current month with today’s date highlighted.

Navigating the Calendar
Filtering by Platform
At the top of the Content screen, you will see filter buttons for each of your connected platforms — for example Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Bluesky, TikTok, Threads, Pinterest, and GBP. Tap or click a platform name to view posts for that platform only. Tap or click All to see posts across every connected platform at once.
Switching Between Tabs
Posts are organised into four tabs directly below the platform filters:
- Scheduled — Posts that are queued and will publish automatically at their scheduled date and time.
- Pending — Posts that are waiting for review or approval before they can be scheduled.
- Drafts — Posts that have been saved but are not yet scheduled or published.
- Published — Posts that have already been successfully published to your social media accounts.
Switching Between Views
At the top right of the Content screen, you will find three icons that let you change how your posts are displayed:
- Clock icon — view posts organised by schedule and time.
- Upload icon — import posts in bulk using a CSV file.
- List icon — switch to a list view of all your posts.
Viewing a Specific Day
Tap or click any date on the calendar to see the posts scheduled for that day. They will appear below the calendar. If no posts are scheduled for that day, you will see a message that reads: No scheduled posts — Nothing scheduled on this day.
Navigating Between Months
Use the left and right arrows on either side of the month name to move backwards or forwards between months.
How to Create a New Post
In addition to the posts BrandViper AI generates automatically, you can create and schedule your own posts at any time. There is no limit to how many posts you can create and schedule manually.
Tap or click the + button at the bottom right of the Content screen to open the New Post screen.

Filling In Your Post
The New Post screen contains the following fields:
- Account — Select the social media account you want to publish this post to. Tap or click the account selector at the top to choose from your connected platforms.
- Media — Upload an image or video for your post. Tap or click the media area to select a file from your device. If you do not add media, the post area will show No media.
- Caption — Write the text for your post. The character count is displayed at the bottom right of the caption field so you can keep track of your length.
- Scheduled Time — Set the date and time you want the post to go live. Tap or click Tap to set a time to open the date and time picker.
Saving or Scheduling Your Post
Once you have filled in your post, you have two options at the bottom of the screen:
- Save Draft — Saves the post without scheduling it. It will appear in your Drafts tab and can be scheduled later.
- Save & Schedule — Saves the post and adds it to your content calendar at the scheduled time. It will appear in your Scheduled tab and publish automatically when the time arrives.
Understanding Post Statuses
Each post in your calendar displays a status so you always know exactly where it is in its lifecycle.
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Scheduled | The post is queued and will publish automatically at the set time. |
| Published | The post has gone live on the social platform successfully. |
| Failed | The post could not be published. BrandViper AI will retry automatically. |
| Permanently Failed | All retry attempts have been exhausted. The post will not publish. You will be notified and should submit a support ticket if you need assistance. |
| Cancelled | The post was cancelled, either manually or because the connected social account was disconnected. |
| Paused | Your monthly post quota has been reached. The post will resume automatically when your quota resets or your plan is upgraded. |
What You Can Edit on a Scheduled Post
You can make limited changes to any post that has not yet been published. The following fields can be edited directly:
- The caption text
- The posting time
You cannot change the scheduled date, the image or video, the platform, or the hashtags on an existing post. If you need any of those changed, submit a support ticket through BrandViper AI and our team will assist you.
How to Edit a Post
- Tap or click the post in your calendar to open it.
- Select Edit.
- Update the caption text, the posting time, or both.
- Tap or click Save. The post will remain scheduled and publish automatically at the updated time.
How to Cancel a Scheduled Post
If you do not want a post to go live, you can cancel it at any time before it publishes.
- Tap or click the post in your calendar to open it.
- Select Cancel Post.
- Confirm the cancellation when prompted.
The post status will change to Cancelled and it will not be published. Cancelled posts remain visible in your calendar but will not count towards your monthly post quota.
How to Import Posts in Bulk
If you want to add multiple posts at once, you can import them using a CSV file.
- From the Content screen, tap or click the upload icon at the top right.
- Download the CSV template provided.
- Fill in the template with your posts. Required columns are: platform, scheduled date, scheduled time, and content text. A media URL column is also available if you want to include an image.
- Upload your completed file.
- BrandViper AI will check the file for errors. If any rows have issues, you will see a list of what needs to be fixed before the import can complete.
- Confirm the import. Your posts will appear in the calendar with Scheduled status.
Common Issues
My content calendar is empty
Make sure you have connected at least one social media account. If you have connected an account and the calendar is still empty, wait up to 15 minutes for your content pipeline to be generated. If it is still empty after that, submit a support ticket through BrandViper AI.
I cannot see the + button to create a new post
The + button is located at the bottom right of the Content screen. If you cannot see it, make sure you are on the Content screen and not inside a specific post view. Scroll down if needed as the button may be below the visible area on some devices.
My new post is not appearing after I saved and scheduled it
Check the Scheduled tab in your content calendar and make sure the All filter is selected at the top. If the post still does not appear, check the Drafts tab in case it was saved as a draft instead of scheduled.
A post shows as Failed
BrandViper AI automatically retries failed posts several times before giving up. In most cases you do not need to take any action. If the post reaches Permanently Failed status, check that your social account connection is still active from the Social Accounts screen, then submit a support ticket if the issue continues.
My posts are stuck on Paused
This means your monthly post quota has been reached for your current plan. Paused posts will resume automatically when your billing cycle renews, or immediately if you upgrade your plan.
I cancelled a post by mistake
Cancelled posts cannot be restored automatically. Submit a support ticket through BrandViper AI and our team can advise on next steps.
I need to change something other than the caption or posting time
Caption text and posting time are the only fields you can edit directly on an existing post. If you need to change anything else — such as the image, the scheduled date, or the platform — submit a support ticket through BrandViper AI describing what you need changed.
My CSV import failed
Make sure you are using the official template downloaded from BrandViper AI and that all required columns are filled in correctly. The error list shown after upload will tell you exactly which rows need fixing. Check that dates and times are in the correct format shown in the template.
